Today Abi, Dan and Myself went through the Actors who had applied to audition for our film teaser on Starnow.com
22 Males have applied and we have whittled them down to 8 people. We have also settled on Friday November 29th as the date for auditioning them.We'd like to use the Drama Studio, but will have to contact the Drama Dep. in order to do so, and until then Abi has taken the precautionary measure of booking out the Media Studio.
Unfortunately only one Female has applied, although appearance wise she does fit the bill. However, we still want to hold an audition for this role and so Abi is putting out another advert on CastingCallPro and if this doesn't work, we will approach some Brighton based Females on Starnow.com
We attempted to write a 500 word treatment yesterday but the information provided on Study Direct caused some confusion. We were unsure of whether we were supposed to be writing a detailed synopsis of our film idea, or rather about the way we intend to film it and in what style etc. We emailed our tutor Adrian to ask some questions but are waiting on a reply and do not want to continue writing in case we have to eventually re-write everything.
I aim to finish the 1st draft of the script tonight so that we can edit and redraft it and eventually produce a schedule and budget. I also aim to draft up some exercises for the audition process within the next couple of days.
